Dry-Type Reactors
Acutran's dry-type reactors are available in single- and three-phase designs. We are proud to be the sole-source supplier of a number of reactors used by the United States Navy on their nuclear-powered aircraft carriers.
Line reactors are current-limiting devices and oppose rapid changes in current because of their impedance. They are used to hold down spikes in current and limit any peak currents.
